Customer Portal & RICA Documents Upload

To help us manage your services securely and efficiently, Zub Connect provides customers with access to a secure Customer Portal.

1. Customer Portal Activation

After placing an eligible order, you will receive a secure portal activation link.

You will need to:

  1. Open the secure link sent to you.

  2. Accept the invitation.

  3. Create and activate your Customer Portal account.

Your portal provides a secure way to manage your account, submit required documents and access relevant service information.

Please ensure that you use the activation link sent to you to complete your portal setup.

2. RICA Requirements for Services and SIM Cards

RICA verification is required for applicable service orders and SIM card orders.

Once your Customer Portal has been activated, you will be required to upload the following documents:

  • A clear copy of your valid South African ID or passport, where applicable.

  • Proof of residential address not older than three months.

  • A clear selfie of yourself holding your original identification document.

All documents must be clear, valid and legible.

Orders requiring RICA verification may remain on hold until all required documents have been successfully submitted and approved.

3. WhatsApp Documents Will Not Be Processed

For security and document management purposes, RICA documents sent via WhatsApp will not be processed.

All required RICA documentation must be uploaded directly through the Zub Connect Customer Portal.

This helps us keep customer information securely linked to the correct order and account.

4. Device Orders

RICA verification is not required for device-only orders.

Customers purchasing routers or other devices without a SIM card or applicable connectivity service do not need to submit RICA documentation.

RICA requirements apply only where required for the applicable service or SIM card order.

5. Monthly Service Invoices

Customers with monthly services can retrieve their invoices through the Customer Portal.

Invoices will also be sent to the email address associated with your Zub Connect account.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their registered email address remains accurate and up to date.

6. Payment Due Date

Payment for monthly services is due on or before the last day of each month.

To avoid possible service suspension, customers must ensure that payment is made by the due date.

Failure to make payment on time may result in the affected service being suspended until payment has been received and processed.

7. Payment Method

Payments for Zub Connect services are made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Customers must use the correct payment reference where applicable to assist us with allocating payments to the correct account.

8. Proof of Payment

After making an EFT payment, proof of payment may be submitted in either of the following ways:

  • Uploaded directly through the Customer Portal; or

  • Sent via email to the relevant Zub Connect payment or support email address.

Submitting proof of payment may assist with payment allocation. However, customers remain responsible for ensuring that payment is made on time and reflects successfully in the relevant account.

9. Important Notice

The Customer Portal is the preferred platform for managing your Zub Connect service account, submitting required RICA documents and accessing invoices.

For security and administrative purposes, customers should ensure that documents uploaded to the portal are complete, accurate and clearly legible.

By activating your Customer Portal and submitting the required documentation, you acknowledge and agree to follow the applicable Zub Connect account, payment and RICA requirements.
